my S&S puffer gets these white spots but only at night??? every night iam like o s*** my puffer has ich. but when i get up in the morning its gone. is it just the S&S puffer that has these characteristics. because i know this puffer has spines that cant be seen unless it is infalted. help!!

I had a tomato clown that did the same thing. At night he looked awful, in the morning I was sure he was cured. Long story short, it died and all my fish are in QT. Anyway, I think it's the lighting that causes that... my only guess anyway.

If he's describing what I think he is, the spots are visible at night, but in the morning they are not easily seen. Mine would be very apparent at night, but dull and difficult to see in the morning.
