Ok so here's my question....

In a 125 gallon tank can you introduce like species (angels/tangs) if you do so at the same time?????

I have seen many videos and many tanks that have 2 or 3 like species and my assumption is they were introduced together......

Does putting them in together help or no matter what problems will arise????

As of right now I wanna get 2 Flame angels as well as 2 powder blue tangs......

Any and all input is greatly appreciated......

There is no guarantee that tangs or angels will coexist, but to answer your question, your best chance for them to get along is to introduce them at the same time. They tend to claim territory very quickly, so adding one later is a definite no-no. The only window of opportunity is simultaneous introduction to the tank. Hope that helps.

Hi,

When I tried to purchase two dwarf angels (I had 2 tanks) the online store called me, they would not ship them until they were sure they were not going into the same tank. I know 125g seems like it should be large enough, but tangs like to take up about 6 foot of water as their territory, and dwarf angels are so mean to each other (and same color fish), that they fight to the death. I don't know anything about the larger angels. When it's the norm to see posted "only 1 per tank", I would go with that recommendation. JMO
