Ok i had like 3 diamond gobys and the all jumped out of my tank I have egg crate ontop on my tank i just don't know how they jumped out. I would like to know if they have any fish that will clean the sand and will not jump out of the tank.

yeah those are the worst jumpers. i had one for about 12 hours only, he jumped that quickly
i had luck with bullet gobies, mine never jumped, they sift sand all day and eat nori from a clip. not too attractive but they are very long lived

sleeper headed gobies r good depending on the size of ur tank. they get about 10 inches long. sea cucumbers except the apple cause it can go nuclear but research more on those. i was recommended urchins but be careful with live rock cuz they can knock it down.

Was this in the display or the qt? How did you acclimate the fish? They jump if they are scared or if there are water issues, the same is true of any fish that are considered "jumpers". I just bought a diamond goby a few weeks ago. He has not tried to jump once. I layed a fresh towel over the open spots on the back of the tank for the first few days just to be safe, but it was not needed. I am very curious as to why you have had fish jump.

I've gotten Cerith and Nassarius snails for cleaning up the substrate, they do a great job, you should look at getting some of those.
