sand cleaners

should i get a sea cucumber to clean the sand bed in my tank or should i get ne thing to clean it?
what creatures clean your sandbed???

Do you have a cleanup crew? (hermits, snails, crabs, etc.)

IMO it wont hurt, dont know how much good it will actually do though...

How established is your tank, I think they should be at least 6 months before adding items like sand siffting seastars, otherwise there is not enough for them to survive on and they slowly starve unless you can spot feed

dont add a sand sifter starfish, the do horibbly in captivity, to clean the sand bed id get a tiger tailed cucumber, some nassurois (speling?) snails, and some tiny hermits

i hav about 16 hermits and 12 snails but there not really on the boton of my tank...
what kind of crabs clean your tank???

Get a few Queen Conches, they sift the sand bed all day.
