Sand or no sand that’s the question.

What’s the best way to have a saltwater tank now a days,I have nine saltwater tanks in my home and they are a handful keeping everything clean so please give me your opinion on what you think.

I struggled with the same question a few years ago when I upgraded. In the end it came down to the fact that I prefer the look of sand. I don’t have a ton of sand just around the outside edges of the rocks.

Is one better than the other? I don't think so. Each has its advantage. The sand bed provides a home for various critters large and small. Bare bottom is easier to clean.
in the end I think asthetics is a big part of the choice. What looks best to each individual
