Sand sifter... please advise

Ok,
I'm in need of a serious sand sifting fish for my 75 gallon reef tank.
The bottom of the reef is decorative fine grain sand. Algea grows down there,
and needs to go.
I have a number of snails, and crabs but they just can't get the job done.
I'm not after the best looking fish, just the best qualified for the job.
After all my reef is an equal opportunity employer.
Any help and guidance appreciated...

Try a Sandifting Goby, also called a Brownbarred Goby. They clean the sand really well.

Dragon goby/sleeper goby ~ around $10
great thing is that they not only shift the sand, they eat off the rocks too...and after the clean the tank...they will take pellets

I've got 2 two spot gobys & they are distructive, keep covering my brain. Had a dimond in there before, he was too active. covered a 120 in no time, built tunels under everything. Has to be a better way?

I have a dragon goby, he is great at sifting, my white sleeper goby is only ok at it when he feels like sifting.
The LFS said the white sleeper's seem to sift better when they are younger.
Also a Diamond goby is supposed to be great !!

What's the turnover like in your tank? If you have good water movement, no dead spots, you shouldn't be getting algae on your sand.
