That is exactly what it is, and I do highly recommend them! Btw I really enjoy watching them when I feed the tank, it is kind of like watching an old zombie horror flick the way they all start to slowly rise from the sand to come and get their scraps.

Forgive me. That is true. My sand bed in only as deep as a couple inches here and there. I didn't know you had a DSB.

I have a dragon goby that keeps the sand nice and turned and white...My SB is about 6" though..
