Sand Sifters

ok I have a 30g with 2 clowns, 1 fox face, and a chromie, 5-6 snails, 2 snails that burry under the sand, a coral banded, and a emerald crab. A frogspawn, xenia, kenya tree, mushrooms, GSP, and a leather. Thinking I might need something to sift or clean the sand. Any suggestions, I need something small and something that wont push the rocks around. Anything?

you could get a couple of fighting conches. i have six of them in my 75 and they come out at night and sift the sand. i would say get 2 or 3

i put a diamond goby in my tank he is a sand sifting guru, 2 days after i added him the sand be is almost spotless i have a 28g nano.
i got 5 nass snails to but the goby puts them to shame when it comes to sifting sand imo.

Hi there. Im hearing sand sifter stars are bad for the tank. Can some one please explain I have been using them for 10 yrs now. I have lost any beneficial stuff in my live sand? I thought they just eat the dietrus.

my four wheel goby, also called a 2-spot does a good job cleaning my sand but is bad about tunneling under my rock. he will also eat hakari marine-S- that falls into his sand.
