sand sifting star

I was wondering what my star was doing one day. Looked like it was releasing eggs in the water column. I'm not sure if they do that or not anyone else ever see this.

it stayed up on its tippy toes and a bunch of yellowish egg like stuff came out of its back.

I dont know the answer, but wouldn't it be cool if it always walked like that! I would get one for sure!!!

interesting my brittles do this but I havent seen my sandsifter do it. maybe someone else will see this and be able to answer but this gets ya back on the front page anyway.

wow.. I wish I saw my sand sifter do that.. that is AWESOME.. your has more color then mine though..

cool pic. Mine doesnt do that either...at least not that I've observed. Mine does like to climb the glass in the corners of the tank and then "let go" once at the top... I think its base jumping...star-style!
