Does anyone know if "sterilized play sand" will work just as well as Southdown playsand? I cannot find the Southdown in my area? THX

Don't know much about it but I have heard of people using sandblasting sand before. Anyone know if that would be alright to use????

it will depend who you ask & who you listen to; I have heard of some people using quickquete as well...but their product varies in content and color & very rarely approaches creme or white color...but some of those people that have used seemed to like it w/o ill effects...you could use the search feature for quickquete (sp) and sift thru the result & decide for yourself...carib sea is good to use maybe w/ some live sand mixed in, but it will cost
