Sandsifting Starfish Question

I have a 75 gal reef tank been running for two years. I have about an inch and a half deep sand bed. Should I purchase a couple of sand sifting starfish? Would they be beneficial?

IMO...NO They'll eat all the beneficial critters in your sandbed and then end up starving to death.

I think you would benefit more from some nassarius snails. If you want a starfish go for the serpent star. JMO.
