Just like this thread can never die....the sight of your drag clothes in the pic will never be forgotten

So your daughter is 7 right? Ahhh, the fun is just beginning. My 9 year old daughter has learned the art of smart mouth and the oh so annoying rolling of the eyes look. I did have to laugh though when she came home the other day and told me that we are officially the cool parents cause the kids found out we went and maushed (sp) at Nickelback.
I was like, I am so honored. Kids, they keep us young.....i think.

LOL... my daughter has my attitude, she is a clown and has also learned the art of witty comeback, puns, jokes... she also has learned the smart mouth, back talk, and rolling of the eyes (which I would credit to her mom
) and her favorite "what ever dude"...
I took my daughter to a Jack Johnson concert last year... she wants to go to KoRn with me...

LMAO-the little angel!!!!!! OMG, my mom used to say that to my brother all the time too. So when he had his challenging son, he asked her if it was possible that he is getting the equivalent of him multiplied by the number of times she had to say that. She just smiled and said the only phrase that a mother can say that is even worse
I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!!!
Do you ever find yourself doing something and realize you have become your parents? :scared:

OH YEAH!!!!! The dreaded, I am becoming my parent moment!!!! OMG, those will drive you insane. I have been tempted to use my dad's favorite discipline of choice for when us kids were fighting but haven't gotten up the nerve and would never attempt it anyways. He used to hang us from our belt loops on hangers on the door handles opposite each other. So we would hang there but we were far enough apart that we couldn't touch each other and its awful hard to fight when your hanging by your pants. Talk about wedgies!!!! It never took more than a couple of minutes and we were laughing so hard, we couldn't fight anymore. Worked like a charm and talk about the best pics!!! Ahh, the good old days. I have adopted a version of this though. When my kids are fighting, I have them stand nose to nose but without anything else touching. I tell them they can't speak or make faces and above else, they can not laugh. It is usually a matter of seconds that they are rolling on the floor in fits of laughter. :hilarious

those a very creative ways of settling a fight... :hilarious
I caught myself saying "I'll give you something to cry about"...which really didnt have any impact because I use the "time out" method... my daughter looked at me and said "are you going to take away more of my toys cuz that would make me cry..." it was all I could do to restrain the laughter...lol

Kids, gotta love 'em, we are forced by law, right?
OMG, I remember once when we were driving on a vacation somewhere, us 3 kids were bickering back and forth and my dad used the old line of don't make me pull this car over. Well of course, we kept going and pretty soon we felt the car slowing down. :scared: So next thing we know he is getting out and tells us all to stand along side the road. Of course, me and my oldest brother, we start trying to talk our way out of it right away but my other brother just stands there and goes, "give it to me dad. I deserve it." My dad almost collapsed in laughter. None of us got spankings. Or I liked the time that my daughter was trying to roller skate and she fell. So she goes running over to the man and yells really loud, daddy I hurt my butt, will you kiss it!!!!
