Hi guys/gals,
We are leaving early tomorrow for Las Vegas, and I think I'm getting more terrified by the minute of the flight. I have never been on a plane. Please add my name to your prayers tonight that our planes stays in the sky until its time to land. I thank you very much. I will let you know how it went next Sat.(I hope)

the planes are fine, its security I fear. I know its necessary, but when your the "one" thats picked, its scarey.
You will be fine. Have a good time, and don't lose too much money.
And go to the M&M store, boy its FUN!!

From someone who essentially flies Monday and Friday of every week, I'll add you to my ritual prayer. Every time I get in the plane I say:
"Hail mary, you can't be beat,
Please dont put an infant by my seat.
And if per chance, I'm in seat C,
Make sure the window passenger never has to pee.
And oh yeah, make sure once I'm out of the plane and clear,
That i'm not in the water, I'm not in a cornfield, and I'm still here."
I'll put you in there somewhere.

Ditto on flying being safer than driving! Roads here have been pure ice sometimes. Scary stuff, especially in a small, treadless Hyundi like mine! (At least I didn't run off the road this year!)

Thank You for all your Prayers!

We made it home ALIVE! There was a couple minutes when we came home that made me think otherwise. When we boarded the 757 in Vegas, we we're told there was a little delay because of a tec. glitch in the cockpit. Thanks, Just what I need to know, I was freaked all the way to St. Paul where we took a DC-9 to Flint. They had a pipe burst while we we're waiting to board, first class was soaked, thank goodness we put the rest of our carry on in plastic shopping bags or our stuff would have been ruined. We sent all our laugage home Fedex on Thursday along with our laptop, so I didn't get all the photos I wanted, I should have bought a disposable camera for Friday, but didn't think until it was to late. We saw a few good shows while we we're there, Penn and Teller, Awesome, we got to meet them and took pictures of them with Tom, We saw The Amazing Johnathan, he was really good, if you have seen him before(even on tv) his show was the same. We also got to meet him and I took photo with Tom. We also saw Carrot Top, OMG! we we're almost rolling on the floor he was a hoot and a half. If you haven't seen him and get the chance, I highly recommend it. We did go to Mandalon(sp) Bay, what a beautiful reef setup, I took lots of photos, but some didn't come out so well, I was having major problems with our camera and the flash on the glass. We miss the M&M store

We spent alot more time shopping than gambling, but did spend most of Thursday playing slots. We won, we lost, basicly we broke even. All in all we had a GREAT time, but I'm so glad to be home.
P.S My dogs HATE me...........

Glad you made it back! It sounds like you had a good time. I'm going in May to be a guest speaker/presenter for an IT company that is having there annual conference there. Not a bad deal as they are paying my airfair, hotel and conference cost. All I have to do is bring my gambling/drinking money.

Hi Tangman, Wow what a trip, I'm so glad to be home. I misses my kids and my doggies soo much.
What a deal free airfare and hotel, I hope they are sending you first class. If you like comedy,and you get the time, you should try to see Carrot Top, OMG, we we're almost rolling on the floor. He is so much better live. Have fun!!
I'm posting some photos in the photo section if you are interested. I had a heck of a time with the camera, so I'm only posting ones that came ok pretty good. I should have played with the camera some before we went, I hadn't picked it up in months and I forgot how to use some of the features.
