OK, my horses have been acclimating for over almost 4 hours...I am very nervous about adding them to the tank, but I am about to do it...I am guessing that I just pick them up with the net (carefully), and then (carefully) place them in the tank?????

Never pick horses up with a net. Their skin is very different from most fish, and snags easily. I have always picked my horses by hand. For my ponies I use a large turkey baster to suck they up. No worries, they'll be fine if you used the net, but I would advise to hand scoop them out in the future
Your new horses look wonderful!!!

Yes in the future never use a net.Their little snouts and delicate fins can get caught.I used a small plastic cup and let the horse swim in it while she was in the acclimation container then slowly placed the cup in the tank and she swam out.
Give them a good week to ajust to your tank.Shipping is very stressful to them and they just need time to get over it(Same with us with jetlag...lol)

+1 with that. Hand scooping is always preferrable to using a net.....
.......unless you're transferring a rabbitfish, lionfish, foxface....or blue-ringed octopus! !
