Are there adequate hiding spaces, and roaming areas, for him and the cbs? Is any of the brine shrimp landing close to him when you place food in the tank?

Something may be bothering him that is why he won`t come out, wait until night time and if you see him running around try feeding him then. My scarlet cleaners eat most of their food at night.

I have 5 and mine go nuts when they see me.Tthey know its feeding time. They eat spirulina and mysis shrimp. Who knew they were cannibals. LOL They grab thier food and go off into a corner to eat. Maybe just give them some time.

my two eat like pigs,to the point of stealing shrimp from my condi. during the night they roam but when the lights come on they are on their rock,in the front of the tank showing out and cleaning themselves. i even watched 1 dropping her eggs the other night.
