could someone help me out on how to get pics into focus... this is the best i can do. what am i doing wrong?

try the setting for "self portrait" if you have it. thats for close ups.....

Your camera needs to have a macro setting... usually denoted by a picture of a flower...

yes i do have a little flower. how do i set that?

Turn the dial or push the button next to it usually. Depends on your camera, look at the book that came with it.
