Ive heard so much bad stuff about blue legs that I'm steering clear from them. Im planning on going zebra's which are more aggressive then scarlets but more passive then blue legs. Just keep enough shells in the tank and their will be no competition and your snails will be fine.

ok well i have like 5-10 blue legs should i execute them or leave them alon i only have some huge turbo snails right now but was planning on ordering a clean up pack if i can substitute snails or scarlets for bluelegs, also what would be the best snails.
thanks,
kyle

Let them be. They can be brutes at times, just have enough shells where they can pick from. Mexican turbos do a fine job. Cerith and Nassurius do a fine job sand sifting.

I have 2 zebra's that came in with my blue legs and they are killers.

I have this one particular electric blue hermit (the evicter) that prefers to "remove" snails from thier homes rather then use the wide selction of empty shells that are available in the tank.

I love my scarlets. I guess the odd thing is that I have blue legs, zebras, scarlets, electric blue, left handed something or other, and a halloween hermit, and they are all just one big happy family.
Funny thing is that I just can't keep astreas snails though......
Just kidding....
