scarlet hermits kill each other?

my scarlet hermit i think pulled out another one, killed it, and then took his shell!! wtf!!..i'm really mad.....
also, is it possible for hermits to get stuck? should i be worried that he is stuck?

get used to it, thats what they do, they do it in the ocean and they will do it in your tank....only the strong survive!

The other night I watched a battle going on. One guy had no shell and was trying to capsize and yank the other guy out. I finally had to go to bed. I don't know the outcome.

One way to prevent them from killing one another for shells is to add empty shells to your tank. There sold most places that sell marine animals.

I saw my first scarlet hermit fight last night hehehe...It was pretty durn funny.
I have been noticing lately that I am finding scarlet hermit legs on the sand all over my tank. Do these guys molt/lose their legs....?
I have accounted for all three hermits that I have so far and they are all there, moving around, and seem to have all their legs.

Yes they do molt, mine does a few times a month and is huge
