Scavenger fish

What is the best scavenger fish? A fish that will eat the leftovers on the sand when you are feeding your fishes..

Im not sure. But a clean up crew hermit crabs, shrimps, snails, etc. do the same thing. You will need a clean up crew anyway, if you have a fish die in your rocks you will love your clean up crew.

well i have a bicolor blenny and he eats food off the bottom. most gobies will eat food that falls to the bottom. and yea i agree that you should have a good clean up crew also cuz they will get food that gets in the places the fish cant reach.

Detrivores are VERY important to any system. Not only do they eat leftover food, but they also eat detris. By having these guys you decrease the amount of things breaking down in your system, which ultimately leads to less nitrates. SWF sells a great detrivore package.
