Can i get a bunch of schooling fish such as damsles with a small picasso trigger and a small porcupine puffer fish???
Would a banded cat shark also be ok with these fish???
PS: I have snails in the tank and they dont bother them.

Chromis are good, non-agressive schoolers. But the trigger will kill them and the puffer and the shark. If you want big agressive fish don't stick fish that are 1/4th their size in there or they will be eaten.

The trigger and puffer might even kill each other but I doubt it. But no small fish can go with them. What size is your tank? And what size of school are we talking here?

Depends. The puffer will eat inverts but maybe not LARGE crabs but then again maybe the crabs will kill the fish. Going big isn't the best.

I wouldn't put in any small fish cause your Puffer and Trigger WILL eat'em. My Humu Humu(Picasso) makes great meals out of small fish.
I have a Yellow Tang in there with him and a large Hermit Crab and also a Silver Tip Shark. You can try some Heniochus Butterfly, they're a schooling fish that's IF you have large enough tank. Just make sure you get the right kind of Heniochus, the one that's the Common Banner Fish, they're the ones that school together, if you get the wrong kind, you'll have problems. This site have them on sale right now, maybe you should look into it. By the way, my Humu Humu is about 2 inches, Yellow tang is about 4-5 inches and the Silver Tip Shark is about 3 inches. It ALL depends on your fish's personality too, I've seen a small Humu Humu took a chunk out of a fish double or triple it's size, I think it was a squarrel fish that it took a chunk from. I love my Humu Humu though, not getting rid of him ever. He sleeps, eats and swims with the Yellow Tang everyday which is interesting to watch. :happyfish Good Luck!

For the previous two posts, it is a fresh water fish called Silver Tip Shark, it can adapt in a saltwater tank. I saw them at a LFS one day and ask about it. I had it in my tank ever since. He's been in there for many months now and counting. He looks more like a cat fish then anything else, but that was the name it was given. He's in a 46 bow front. And before anyone say anything about the Tang and the Trigger, they're moving in a different tank by spring. We are purchasing a 125+ gallon for our Tangs and Butterfly, and the Trigger would move into my 55 gal next until he grows bigger. :happyfish
