I have a 75 reef with one bellus angelfish, two small clown fish, two small purple fire fish, and one pj cardinal. I was hoping to get three or four of the same good schooling fish possibly green chromis? I would really like at least four but maybe thats pushing it? what do you all suggest for fish ype and quanity. My 75 has a 30 gal sump with refugium. Thanks in advance

The thing about chromis is that they almost always pick each other off one by one until only the most dominate fish remains. It can work though.
Have you thought about glass cardinals? Much more peaceful and stick together more than the chromis would.

I second the Chromis comment. I put 20 of them in my 180 to get the schooling effect. Looked great for a while...Been about a month and I am down to 12. And 1 has taken permenent residence in my corner overflow partition....

i've had 5 chromis that have been schooling in my 55 for close to 7 months now.
i lost 1 within the first couple days, but i figured that was just due to shock (he was the smallest of the group)
until my clown hosted my LTA, him and my foxface would actually school with them!

four lyretail anthias in a 75g is anything but a good idea. besides the aggression among themselves their required feeding will tax a 75g without diligent maintainence practices. its just plain not enough room to school anthias. lyretail anthias (and all the rest)=6ft or bust schoolers (with exceptions. 3x3x3' or greater cube for example).
