Schooling Wrasses

I was reading a post where someone recommended reef safe wrasses as schooling fish. They also recommended at least one male and multiple females.
I'm just now deciding what fish to add to my tank after upgrading and recycling. I want a 6-line wrasse as I've had one before and it was a wonderful fish. Can I have more than one in the tank and could I have 3 in total that would school?
My tank size is 29 gal. so I'm limited on the number of fish I can have. If I had 3 6-lines that would only leave room for maybe one more small fish if that. But I do think it would be cool to have a school of 3.
Also is there a way to determine the --- of the fish? I know they can change --- so do I have anything to worry about if I just get 3 random 6-lines?
Any thoughts or suggestions? Please let me know if this is a hopeless thought.

i dont think lines will do well in multiples, especially in a small tank, they are pretty pushy. this is referring to some fairy wrasses.
i would not even bother with schools in a 29...

That's kind of what I thought might be said. 29 is a bit small for schools. Thanks for the advice. Back to the drawing boards.

I have 2 sixlines, but I have a big tank. And mine don't "school". Rather they have absolutely nothing to do with one another other than maybe a brief 'whats up' in passing one another. So it might have been a different wrasse that you read about.
