scooter blenny eating habits

hey everyone, i have a scooter blenny and i have not seen him eat yet. Do you think he is just scaveging? I have been feeding garlic soaked brine and mysis. thanks, Greg

:happyfish Hi, do you have him in a reef tank? They really need live rock to eat the cocopods off of the live rock. I did get one of mine to additionally eat brine, but it was live, and he ate that occasionally. If you have live rock, and your tank has been set up for at least 6 months thats all you can do. If you don't have a reef, good luck.

mine will eat whatever goes in there,flake food also.He loves to follow the scraper and get the algea of the glass.

you guys are all lucky....mine never touched any of the stuff you mentioned....it only went for live copepods....eventually i had to give it to somebody who had tons of live rocks in his tank......and he's doing fine now......
