Scopas Tang

Hi,
Tell me about this Tang? I got him and he appears to be very active fish. But swimming back and forth in my tank very fast. As if he's a guard dog
I see him eating algae and I think he's finishing up all the algae faster than I imagined. He's also eating flake food, krill (lots of it).

They are good fish and very much like yellow tangs. It sounds like yours is doing very well. Make sure to keep up with the green vegetable matter because they need it. Try some of the special frozen foods with spirulina, algaes in them.

A Scopas tang is one of the better tangs to have. In my experience they are very hardy. Now I've read some books that they are aggressive, but I had a docile one. Depending on yours, he might be the last fish you can add to your tank. TJ
