Yeap, I also got a deal like yours a couple of months ago. It's a chunk of LR maybe 3-4lbs with 5 huge fuzzy mushrooms on it for $24 (I think thats what I payed) This ***** also has a bunch of Condi's, Seabae's and carpets, I think I'm goign to head over and get the Seabae anemone in just a little while, I got a clown thats homeless..........

Just for reference, that's a 7" Golden Teardrop Maxima underneath him..... I just hope that due to his size he doesn't cop an attitude

Here in VA you pay $79.99 for 2" hippo tang. And if is small size like the size of a quater is $49.99. If is large size they sell it for $125 and up.

Pull their signs down for all but the condi and maybe you will get it for that price

I second the vote for GV Aquariums. They are a nice store but are not always accurate with their advice.
Atlantis tropical fish isnt too bad either. Good prices on LR...around $5 lb for fiji.
Stay away from Trop Aquarium..rip off artists and completely wrong advice. They are all about the selling you crap you dont need. Dont ask how I know....

I don't blame you from not wanting to buy from *****. I am an Aquatic Specialist here at one in Indy, and I never really considered buying from there until I started working there. I don't mind buying stuff from there now, because I take care of the tanks, I can make sure a fish is eating and I can always know the conditions of the fish when they come in. People shouldn't put down all big stores like *****, and Petsmart. There are some honest people out there that work at these kind of stores like myself. If someone asks me a question about a fish, whether if it is if the fish is eating, if it is sick, ect. I always give them an honest answer. What a steal, I don't even get deals like that. . . .lol

i was at a ***** the other day and every single tank bottom was covered with red slime with white bubbles on it. It was disgusting and when i asked the guy why the tanks were so messed up he said "Oh... yeah... they haven't been cleaned since yesterday" What a lying SOB. I felt bad for the fish.

I was just at Trop and wow, I can't believe what they tell people.....Bad...bad...bad....But they do have great prices on tanks, right now they have an 80g thats 62" long, awesome frag tank for $89, they have 6 of them.... What part of Vegas are you in, second person I've come across thats Local....Sent PM

Yeah, they sell tanks for $2 a gallon, or maybe it's $1 a gallon, anyway,..Not a place that I trust, I called them a few times, but it was really weird the way they run the business. I'd rather go with a Fujimoto tank if I need a cheap one.

I know who you are talking about BabyB. I walked out of ***** today with the same guy helping me with a condy and a clarkii for 10$ I about fell over. Then while he was bagging my guys up he was asking which shrimps were which cuz he was needing to replace the price tags.
so me and my 12 yr old were going from tank to tank telling him what was in there.

As bad as ***** is, I really want to go to one now.
There was one in edmond that I went to where the guy seemed to know something and recomended me a good book on sw fish. I forgot the title. So maybe I'll go and try my luck.LOL

dude i just sold my 7" blue hippo to GVA... I got my reef all set up man.. Next time your over on this side of LV you need to stop by my place and see my setup.. Its super nice.. :)
I might post pics on here tomorrow...
