i have a few small scratches in my 12 gallon aquapod. i imagine that it is from grains of sand getting stuck in my magfloat. is there any kind of sealer to cover the cracks? theyre small and you cant see them unless your really close to the glass, but i still want to fix them if possible.

I would imagine a very light grain wax, with a very non abrasive cloth might "buff" it out, I also have a couple scratches that are small but to the owner they are huge.

I have one scratch too from when a LR fell but I think they're very hard to fix, especially if they're on the inside. So far any solutions I found require to empty the tank.

I ordered a glass scratch removal product that will arrive tomorrow. Once I use it, I’ll let you all know if it works.
It comes highly recommended from a friend of mine in the glass industry. “Supposedly” it requires only hand polishing and no special equipment. We’ll see…

This is just an idea but if the scratch wasnt low on your tank, when you do a water chnage lower the water level to were the scratch is and use a glass scratch buffer and buff it out? I dont no if it contains chemicals which is bad for the water tho....

Short of draining the entire tank, I am going to reduce the water lever well below the scratches and then create a dam to keep any residue from running down the glass. We'll see what happens.
