Scroll Coral?

Are you talking about the yellow cup / scroll coral. I do not have much info but i do have one. It was a frag and was bright yellow when i got it and turned rather brown on me. I have it mid way up my 55 tub under 285 wts of vho and a 175w mh. I also have fairly high current throughout the tank. After about 3 months it has finally turned back to bright yellow and all the polyps seen to have come back out. It is also turning up around the corners to make the cup shape. It was a flat frag. My calcium has been really high over the last 2 months or so also. Being that it is a hard coral i would think that may factor it but i have no idea.

I've had one for about 6 weeks. It was green, but its turning brown. Could be dying. However, it still glows green under actinics, so I assume it is still alive.

The scroll's polyps are usually always extended..but, even more so at night and whenever food hits the water. He's under a combination of 400 watt 10K's and 20K radiums with some actinic VHO. I never mustered the courage to frag him yet...he just looks too nice....but, he is getting big and someday, I will have to.
