Scuba or Snorkle pics... What was your best experience?

The winning experience goes to the Turtle! I swam with a WILD sea Turtle! This one was about 3-4 feet long. My friend and I were driving down the road and saw some people snorkling in a small reef. So we parked the car and got our stuff out. About 5 minutes in I see this turtle and swam out to it (not the best idea but, you aren't thinking if you see a sea turtle. You just go to it) and swam with it for a minute or two! I even touched it!

I wish I had some pictures but alas I don't. I have seen some beautiful stuff snorkling in Hanamu Bay in Hawaii and I got to swim with a sea turtle near sandy beach in Hawaii. If I ever get to go again I will make sure I bring a underwater camera...

Well my sea turtle encounter happened like I said right near Sandy Beach in Hawaii.. (I believe that was the name) It was in a little cove like area where you basically had to climb down a steep cliff to get to a tiny beach. I think there were two sea turtle but one came all the way up to the rocky shoreline and poked its head out. It was maybe a foot away. The turtle even stayed around when I was swimming... So that is my story and I am sticking to it.. Thinking about this makes me wish I back there...

I was around the same place as you when I swam with my Turtle.

rach4194 what kind of camera are you using? i ask cause i am going to belize next year and am going diving off of that barrier reef and would like to take tons of quality pictures so i can post them here. hopefully i will have some cool stories to share then!
