Here is a picture of the sea appple that several people asked me about.
Sorry, I'm a bad photographer. I need to learn how to get the colors right.
He moved and is literally balancing on a single piece of rock - again. He loves to move around on me.

Somehow, someone needs to tell me how to do the photographs justice when taking pictures on things in your tank.
If everyone only knew how much film I wasted.... sigh
But I love this sea apple as he provides me endless hours of relaxation. I like that they don't do anything but eat.... too bad humans can't do it without paying a hefty price on our waistlines. :hilarious

If you leave your tank unattended a lot, then the sea apple probably shouldn't go into your tank.
However, I have a friend that knows about tanks and she will come over when I go to Florida over the holidays and I will have everything laid out for her.

I was gone for about a week and a half..other wise I stare at the tank making sure nothing horrible happens....It seems like whenever I go on vacation something happens
1. I get a call in FL..police..my alarm is going off...come home..storm fried a circut and made the alarm go off
2. Tank crashes..
3. Tank crashes again (must be a goblin doing it)
4. Got robbed once in Jamica..
Kinda scard to go on vacation again :scared:

I'd be scared too if I were you. My husband is a person that if it wasn't for bad luck, he'd have no luck at all. That's why he never touches the pool, the hot tub, sauna or the tanks. He has to leave all chemistry related stuff to me - we've had so many problems whenever he plays mad scientist. :hilarious
If he leaves the hard stuff to me I am more than happy to leave the lawnmower, weed whacker and air blower to him.

Thanks. He is so relaxing to watch.
I dragged him to the local McDonalds and literally dragged him by the hand into the restaurant for him to see what one looked like. Then he REALLY wanted me to get one. It took me a couple of months to get one, as I want the LFS to order things for me when they are a real deal but it was worth the wait.

Yep. Our local McYuk put in a 135 gallon reef tank put in a wall that divides the play area from the restaurant.
It really is pretty but the idiot that put it in - after the tank cycled he prompty went ahead and threw about five yellow tangs, a powder tang and a couple of madarins in as well right off the top. Of course, I told the manager it would happen but woman could have cared less.
Obviously, tank maintenance contracts do not include free replacement of fish.
Thank God my LFS has nothing to do with that tank. I saw dead tangs everywhere one day when I came in to get coffee.
