I just put a sea apple in my tank, and typical me, did not do any research. As i have been reading these things can really screw up a tank fast if they die. Has anyone have one in there tank, are they ok, or all the things I have read true. I have a 210 reef with alot of corals and would hate my tank to crash.
any advice with be great, thanks
Mike

Yep, if you really value your tank, I would bring it back to the store, ASAP. Even if you do not get any money back, just consider all the money you saved by not crashing your tank.

I would say the real risk is to fish, and even the hobbyist, but not much to corals as a general rule except if there is a big ammonia spike.

What about a powerhead? If the tank has any powerheads, I would say that there is a risk because the sea apple could get sucked or stuck to the powerhead and create havoc.
