You are welcome Alyssia. Bonebrake~LOL.
Just a side note to anyone who may see these available at their LFS...this is not an animal I would recommend to a newly set-up system, or an inexperienced reefkeeper. They do have the potential to wipe out everything in your tank if improperly acclimated, handled, or disturbed by other tank inhabitants. I have heard of hermits picking on them, causing them to expel{eviscerate}. The brighter colored the cucumber/apple, the more toxic it is.

my lfs said they sell around one of these per week and have never heard of any of the buyers having problems. of course i'm sure the buyers are experienced aquarists with stable tanks. but i just wanted to let it be known that it seems to be very possible to keep them safely with the proper care.

That's a good one.

Acclimation is very important with sea apples. When I got mine, I did a two hour acclimation and then carefully laid him in the tank. He moved around quite a bit to find a spot he liked.
Keep in mind when you put one in your tank initially, you should probably watch him closely as he managed to get too close to my leather and I think he probably was responsible for the death of the leather.
I love watching the sea apple so much that I'm seriously thinking about setting up another tank and just adding a few sea apples to it.
My local LFS is relocating his store so tanks, supplies, fish and corals are DIRT cheap so if I plan on doing it, now is definitely the time to do it.
