Sea Cucumber help

i have had my sea cucumber for about 6 months now and he is getting a little skinny... Does anyone know how i can get him healthy again??? I have a 30 gallon reef and i know i need to replace the lighting can that have anything to do with his skinniness......

Need more info on your tank and the cucumber.

30 gallon
3 years old, mature tank
i have a protien skimmer
its a reef tank so.... live rock yes/ corals/ maroon clown/ gobies
its the pink cucumber im not sure of its name... let me look for a pic...
it filter feeds so i have been feeding it phytoplankton, but then it said that it also has photosynthetic little branches that come out of its orifice... mouth.... so thats why im wondering if my old bulbs have anything to do with his getting thin....
