Anyone know anything about brown sea hairs?
I got one to eat my hair algae. I know that they are hard to take care of because they eat a lot of algae. Well I have lot of algae in my tank, when my tank runs out of algae I was thinking of selling it back to my LFS.

Do sea hair sleep under the sand? I thought I lost mine today, and I found him baried underneath the sand. I can't see him but I think he is underneath the sand.

You could sell him back to LFS or lend him to a friend who may be battling hair algae. Some reef clubs share a Sea Hare between them. I have never heard of them going under the stand, but that doesnt mean they dont.

yeah im definetly going to give him back to LFS. When I got him at the LFS he was skinny. And he ate 24/7 and now he is nice and fat. Now he doesnt eat 24/7, during the day, he is buried underneath the sand. At night he comes out to eat. I still got plenty of algae left for this guy. I wish there was more info about sea hairs. I coudlnt find that much info other then they are delicate.

mine ran out of algae after a week or so. I have been feeding seaweed sheets since then and he seems ok with that.
