Sea Hare??

Haven't been on here in a while, my tank has been up and running for 8 months now, and now I have hair algae My LFS just told me about sea hares and ordered one......after reading about them I'm scared......does anyone have these things?

I had a couple...they are hair algae eating machines....BUT...you must also find the source of your algae
 
and once the algae is gone....the seahare will starve to death....ask your lfs if they will take it back

Do they release chemicals that will nuke the tank? I read that somewhere....

only if they are very stressed or die i think

I believe they release a kind of purple ink.....I had one die in my tnak once, and it did not release anything until I squeezed it while removing it....luckily it was only a teeny bit....
