sea horses

Hi.
I just went to an aquarium and fell in love with sea horses. Does anyone own one? i wnat to , so I need to know what size tank i need and what else to buy? Any advice would help.

Seahorses are wonderful creature aren't they? They need specialized tanks and special care.Check out some of the web sites on them.Apparently they are difficult but far from impossible with the right setup

If you buy a sea horse they must be in a tank without fish, for they are delicate creatures and fish will often pick on them. Sea horses can be hard to feed as well, they can be picky eaters and if you have fish the fish may eat all the food before they get any. They also need plants to hang on to. They can be a lot of work especially if they refuse to eat. It is possible though that you can have a very non-aggressive fish in with the sea horse. It would be good too to have a varied diet for them. Hope this helps, and if you do decide to get a sea horse good luck!
