I like them, but there are much better ways to randomize water flow in my opinion.

I like em. Easy to use, easy to setup and very reliable. I've been using two of the 1" models for about 5 years.

I have 2, love them.
I do think your money is better spent on Tunze's with multicontroller than the seaswirls though.

i just dont want all thoughs wires on the tunze hanging in my tank thats why i like the sea swearl

The Tunze's are nice but they can't offer the same kind of flow that SS will offer. I wont say they are better or worse, just not the same flow. If I could do it over I would have drilled the sides of my tank and used the Ocean Motion 4 way, but then I already had the SS's left over from my old tank. Even the OM's can't do the same thing the SS's can do...They all have their pro's and con's.. Sea Swirls are best setup on the ends of the tank pointed at each other.
FWIW, My two SS's are modified for optimal flow. The fittings that are bought and sold for these units do nothing but drop the flow. I did just the opposite to mine.
