Has anyone used this? What are their results?

My LFS guy reckons once I get past the possible initial phosphate leak from my dry rock die off, with a normally stocked tank it would last me 5-8 months.

That seems too good to be true..considering I've seen people using GFO from 1-8 weeks tops.

Phosnet is gfo. I use the high capacity gfo from bulk reef supply and it's the exact same thing.

I change it out every other month regardless. Just don't like the idea of leaving the same media in there for longer than that.

Ideally, how often it requires changing just depends on what phosphate levels in your system are doing.

Mine stay low since I've been using it so I can leave it in there longer. But I changed it more often in the beginning.
