Seachem Prime vs. Kordon Amquel

I have always used amquel and amquel plus..
is seachem prime much better?

I love Prime. Amquel is good stuff too though... Its more of a personal preferance.

yeah it is... i am going to try prime i think... seachems other products are great.

Amquel pluss is the better product for city water but prime is better for well water. I have used both, liked them both, never had problems with either, I prefer amquell for city water because of its ability to neutralize pheremones in the water prime doesnot do that. but amquell plus isnt as effective against heavy metals as prime is.

i have city water... we are lucky as our city water here is great... if it is treated

I dont see why you couldnt use a half dose of each and get a moderated benefit, they are both base on the same stuff just fine tuned for specific needs. they definatly arent going to react poorly with each other I have ran out of enough of one and used some of the other to complete a dose with no ill results. (now I use RO/DI water)

What are you using it for? Both have their uses.
