Seaclone Help

I got a seaclone for a great price. I tried to modify it but cutting down the inner tube but Me and my brute strength managed to break the sucker!! Does anyone know a good way to remove the remaining acrylic from the innermost rim of the CONTACT chamber???

I did the same thing to mine...............you can go to HD and get a small grinding stone that will fit into it.Grind out what you can,then I took some 3/4" pvc and grind down one end of it until you can get a snug fit,I did'nt even use the acrylic tube that was in it,the 3/4" pvc is the almost the same size of the acrylic tube.
