i have a seaclone 150 on my 125. i know nobady likes them, anyway i tried the adjust that i read here about putting a air stone down in the middle of it to create more bubbles, well before i was getting this dark brown slimy stuff but only about a half inch each day,now i have to empty the cup twice a day but the liquid is a golden color and less slimy, am i still better off this way it seems i'm getting more out or if i'm getting just more deluted. thanks

I have a SC 100 on a nano. I've never felt the need to increase bubbles, it's been the constant adjustments that have bothered me. I like them for small tanks. I doubt if you're getting any more stuff out than before, like you said, it's just more diluted. I would probably run it unmodified until I was able to upgrade the skimmer.

Mine used to do that. The inside is so covered in coraline that I'm not sure what it looks like in there now. It produces so I leave it alone.

Mine has the vortex look. It took about 3 weeks for it to settle into that routine but now it works great.

I have the SC 150 and mine looks just like the cyclone on the box. I get a lot of bubbles when i do water changes, but it seems to be working well
