my cup is filling with brown muck foam but still dumping micro air bubbles into tank. is this normal? <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" />

Hey LouNY if you want to gain better control of your air supply you could take the original air valve assembly off and put a plastic air valve in its place....it only costs like a dallar for two of these valves and they really do help you gain control.....just a thought.....might want to give it a try.....if you want more info just let me know....

I've had the same problems as you are. I think I've finally got the air set just right. To get rid of the bubbles in your tank I put a piece of foam in the outlet and I have no more bubbles in the tank.
I bought A foam block #2 for a Hagen Filter I think. Cut it to be just a little longer the black spillway. Then cut a slit in the side of the foam and slipped it over the spillway. Hope this helps.
