Everytime I think I am about to get one or the other I see something else. Does anyone have any thoughts on the amiracle line? Should I be worried about buying a used skimmer minuns the pump? I may be able to pick up a used berlin XL for a good deal.

I'm looking at getting one of the two right now. How high do they rise above the top rim of the tank? I have about 5" before it would hit my canopy.

i use a prizum on a 29. works great no problems.

i use the berlin if you can get one cheap and it is in good shape and work I would pick it up. It is the best money i ever spent. You can also get the conversion kit after if you decide to get the berlin to change it over to the Berlin Xl Turbo.. Switching over to that style you will just love it even more. Awesome protein skimmer.
