ok so i took out some fish using the 2 liter bottle method.
what i have left in my 55. is
1 yellow tang lrg
1 blue tang medium
2 tomato clown fish
10 hermits
0 snails
this ok now?
oh and im ditching the 120gallon and bought me a car instead.
seaclone 150 is great and pulls out alot of skim as i tried it out, but may vary on other peoples experiance w/it. ive thought about the design of the seaclone and may have thought of a reason why it doesnt work as well as other skimmers. the whole design is messed up. the so called vortex reaction chamber actually looks like its seperating the air from water....the only good contact time on it is when it comes out of the chamber and actually mixes with the water to the collection cup. the 150 being taller actually out performed my seaclone 100 on my 10g nano due to the fact the 150 is 7inches taller which allowed for more contact time. i jus bought a bakpak for my 15g nano reef and the water is much rich in protien than the seaclone150's skim. The design of the bakpak really looks like it mixes air with water and thats what its really doing compared to the seaclones bubble tornado. i may be wrong but this is jus my opinion. im still using the seaclone on the 55 since it still works well.
