Well the seahare I have had all these months is dieing.....I have absolutely NO algae in any of my 3 tanks (good, but sad for the hare) I moved it from tank to tank, and now I have nothing left for it
I have tried to place algae sheets under it....and it just crawls off
Anything else I could try? I have NOWHERE I could bring it :(

Do you think this death could be related to the others you've had recently or no? This is the first invert death?

NO, this is in a different tank, and I am 99% sure it's food related
And the other deaths..in the 225G, with the exception of the mandarin were all new adds....the lyretails

....very sad, I tried to feed it various algae sheets, and even the wafer.....
Sorry for the loss…I hate it critters die like that....so hard to watch helplessly as they starve, and we can’t do a thing about it. R.I.P. little sea slug

I would say, if you have an algae outbreak again, and you decide to get another sea hare, set aside a few rocks in your refugium and let the hair algae go out of control on them, then alternate feeding them to the sea hare until the algae on the rock is almost gone then switch it out.

:( I don't even have hair algae in the fuge
......well I think I have one spot of fuzz that is right by my return pump....not the fuge section....I think I'll stay away from gthe seahares....I figured with 3 tanks surely I would be able to move it around enough....BUT with NO algae in ANY tank...I had nowhere for it to go....
HOPEFULLY I will stay algae free....if not, I will have to go another route I think....

Ya, thats too bad, but I hope it at least makes you feel a little better that once he was plucked from the ocean, his days were numbered cause not many people can sustain enough food for them for long.
