Sopia died a couple of weeks ago. in the nursing tank.
The photos below are all of her in that tank. The first two, taken shortly after I first posted this thread, were September 25. The last one was taken on October 24, about two weeks before she died.
I feel odd posting this, but she was an amazing seahorse. So friendly and always at the front of the tank, waiting like a puppy.
It is the hardest month with an animal that I have spent and I wanted to share this with folks who want to own seahorses. They should live full lives and have your heart when they go. They should not just be there for show. I know that's a bit sappy about a fish, but if you look closely at the last photo, you can see that she actually had me wrapped around her finger, not the other way around.
Alyssia, thank you SO much for being there. You are awesome!

I'm sorry to hear that PonieGirl, :( You did everything you could do and tried your best, and for that, you should be proud...

I was so sorry to hear that Ponie, she was a beautiful horse! You gave her a great life. It's to bad not everyone cares about their animals as much as you do.
