What do I need to know about them???
Can I set up my old 10 gal and have one or 2???
What kind of lighting and food????
Are they easy to keep???
Which one should you start with????

Sea horses are not for beginners and are very picky!! PLus they cost alot for such a little thing. The need fresh food 3 to 4 times a day, perfect water conditions. Unless youve been working with marine fish for a long time I wouldnt even try them. I think that they require a 20-30 gallon.

Seahorses are very hard to keep. If you want to keep them only buy captive bred and not wild caught.
Do a lot of reseach and learning before you get them so you can be sure you are prepared to keep up with thier needs. One place for good info in seahorse.org.

Do a web search for Dr. Amanda Vincent. You will gain a ton of information from her site.
Also, seahorse.org is another info place.
For a 10, you could put a few of the smaller dwarfs in there...
All seahorses are hard to keep...regardless of experience level. They are very time consuming animals, which require constant attention.
