:notsure: i have had seahorses now for a year and i finally had babies sat out of 23 i have 7 left i am keeping thier breeding tank in the tank they were born in and full of 24 hour brime shimp that i grow every day (i have 3 tanks of shrimp going) but i am still losing them any suggestions on what could be wrong

mysic shrimp are too big yet i have started to put in liquid plankton to see what happens but they are still so small that the shrimp are gigger then they are

What kind of seahorses? How old are the fry?
The best foods accepted can vary by species and age of fry(rotifers, bbs, copepods, etc).
Knowing what species will also help with setting up the ideal nursery tank, which can increase your survivability immensely.
As a whole, seahorse fry are difficult. Some are easier than others though.
If this is your first batch, don't feel bad. They say in the wild only 1 out of every 1000 makes it. So far, you've beat those odds!

they were born fri night and when we got up there were 27 and now there are 7 left the female is tank raised and i got her through another site and the male some one brought me they caught him in their fishing net and did not want to lose him and he is doing great too i did not know they would breed cuz he is a giant and she is not what a surprise we got and no he was not pregant when we got him we seen them breed

thanks i will try that today i have only 5 left i am going to try to put in vitamins in the baby shrimp tank maybe they can eat enough of it which will be good for the babies it seems like every time i put in liquid plankton i lose one so i am going to stop using it for now
