seahorses

Hello
im writing does anyone own a seahorse? or have information about them im just getting started and would like as much information before i buy them. thank you

Sea horses for the most part need to be kept in species only tanks because they are non-aggresive eaters and would starve if they are placed with fish IMO. They need perfect water conditions and plenty of thing to anchor themselves to while eating and sleeping. HTH

There's a fish of the week on seahorses. It gives alot of beginning information on seahorses. Do a seach on FOTW: SEAHORSES

I considered seahorses too, but the idea of 100's of fry getting sucked into the filter on a semi-regular basis scared me off--and the idea of trying to grow them out in a nursery tank scared me even more!
