i just picked up a sebae nem yesterday as well as a skunk clown for a trade with my bicolor that wasnt eating. after adding them to the DT the nem floated around for about 5 min then hitched in. my question is will it eventually come out? its in a shaded part of the tank and wonder if it will come out for light over time?

We have lost 2 Sebae's since starting our tank. The first got itself up against the heater and the end result was not so good (we now have a sump and that's where the heater stays). The second one could not seem to find a "happy" place and got behind our rocks in a dark place one day. I guess he was there too long and by the time we fished him out, it had been too long without light and never come back around.

^ wow that really sucks. i put it in the qt a few hours ago because it was getting really flat, the stomach was coming out of his mouth and was expelling some slime. its been doing a lil better in the qt though. although my qt only has pc lighting, its more then it was getting in the hole.
any suggestions on bringing it back?

I don't think there is enough light to bring him around. Either the "slim" is his body breaking down (death) or he is so stressed its a defencive action. I would think that if he is just stressed, than lots and lots of light should bring him around since its the lack of light that caused the problem.
Hope he makes it!
