SEIO 1100 ph question

Silly question. does this power head go completely under water?
Have water/ls in tank and need circulation. Need a little help soon. :help:

I wouldn't keep it to close to the top either. They can start pulling air and spray a micro bubble storm. I upgraded the 820 (actually moved them to a 75 gal) to 1100s and when I turn the main return pump off for feeding the water drops low enough for the 1100s to pull air in on occations.

I'm not feeding anything yet.

but I'll save this information for when I am.
This has been completely infuriating and fun at the same time. good thing I got a wife and a few interested kids to help.
